Much the most poppy of IQ albums this is always a great listen when out an about and on the road. Only one track 'Common Ground' is still up there with the best of IQ. Menel's vocals give IQ a more commercial sound than Nichols but IQ were always a post consumer band perhaps with their greatest recognition yet to come in a post capitalist era. This album offers an interesting alternative sound rather than something better and newcomers to IQ probably don't want to start here. Despite the more commercial sound on Nomzamo the Seventh House album (for example) has a far wider appeal.
