We've been made aware of a potential problem with the manufacturing of the recent 'The Seventh House' double vinyl pressing. We've checked a few of our own copies and have noticed some slight noise in the runout grooves of sides one, two and three! For us this is not acceptable.

One of the things we love about vinyl is its 'analogueness' (is that a word?), but that definitely should not include surface noise on the actual vinyl itself.

At this point in time we're not sure if this is a problem with the whole batch or just the first few hundred but we've had 'words' with the pressing plant and they've agreed to a complete repress for this title. We're told this will take approximately three weeks.

From this point on we're instructing all distributors to stop sales of this run immediately and wait for the replacement copies. In the meantime we'd like to ask everyone who has already received their copy of 'The Seventh House' vinyl pressing to let us know if theirs is damaged so that we can arrange for a replacement.

We can only apologise that this has happened - we're definitely not OK with this and we know you won't be either! Thanks for understanding, and thanks for your continued support.
